Yeah. I'm excited! But I feel that we'll be waiting a long time before the game comes out.

YES! I saw the trailer 5 times 40 minutes ago, SO HYPED! But, one thing that gets me is that now the story line is mixed up now, I have no clue what was going on anymore. If this game gets a collector's, I'M NOT SKIPPING IT! Big MGS fan since MGS1.

If you want to understand this game, you are going to need to know everything about Metal Gear Solid 3, Portable Ops, Peace Walker, and the upcoming Ground Zeros.

Why is this coming out on last game systems?
You would think MGS V would come out on the next gen systems in order to sell units.

Ground Zeroes and MGSV are open world, but the others do follow a linear structure. I still recommend playing 3 though: it's one of the best games of all time. You can get it on the hd collection which includes 2 and Peace Walker, or yoj can find the 3DS version which has Peace Walker's gameplay controls.

Its obvious its a sequel to Peace Walker but now i still don't know who was that Red Skull look alike, some say its Solid Snake, and the fire guy is Volgun, I have no clue who was the guy in a coma who lost his arm.

The story is not linear at all, you have to remember what was going on in past games, It'll be linear if you played it in order in the time line and you'll look back and say "Oh so that guy is from the other game."

lol i mean that the stories are linear by mgs4 would start where 3 would leave off you kno? not the games themselves but the games as a whole. not like ff where each game is a separate story but where the story from the previous game would lead into the next game and pick up where it left off pretty much.

No! David Hayter is Snake! Although I am enjoying Kifer Sutherland's voice, although all I can imagine is Jack Bauer hahahaha

I thought Richard Doyle (Big Boss in MGS4) was the voice actor.

No this time. Now it's some generic dude. Not a very good performance. I am upset.

oh...well that sucks. I would love to see Richard Doyle voice it. He was amazing in MGS4. I just watched the trailer again, and Snake didn't talk. Did they confirm a voice actor yet?
