I haven't been hyped since Nintendo's announcement of their Wii U exclusive with PlatinumGames... Bayonetta 2.

Good that they did something to the game.

Excellent game.

But my concern is this:

It's played out. It won't sell very well.

So if square is looking at this to gauge wii u viability, they are making a mistake.

However, if you haven't played this game before... Get it!

It's one the best reasons to play video games there is. Truly amazing.

So here we have wii U, that can produce better graphics from a 2011 game, even from PC... And its a port, imagine a ground up game... you shouldnt cry in the forums all the time!

Let's wait fork gameplay... This reminds me of the activision black ops full HD comments. People are making too big of a deal of this without gameplay to back it up.

We'll have to wait for video, but it should be releasing soon, like in the next couple of months was the rumor IIRC.  This is definitely something I am looking forward to, and what's with all of these devs hyping the Wii U?  Have they been missing out on the last four months of memos and gaming press?

He means video, because obviously evil developers lie to us.  He referenced BLOPS, which in my opinion is the best version of that game as well.

Dont get to hung up on the word sharp. Hes using it as a general adjective, rather than a statement about image quality.

Poor choice of words imo.

Visually, its the standard good wii u port stuff: Improved lighting system, improved fog, improved shadows, and antialiasing. Nothing was promised about resolution.

So a 2012 console that's only in the mere beginning of its lifecycle can already produce better graphics then a 2011 big budget PC game... Tell me more about how the Wii U is a weak console.

Its a bit odd to describe the game as looking "sharper" than PC, seeing as the Wii U version will no doubt be 720p whereas the PC should be able to do 1080p (or higher if your monitor can take it) unless this was one of those silly games that locked at 720p to prevent console gamers moaning that the PC version looks better. 

 

So the PC version by its nature will ALWAYS be technically sharper, seeing as you can turn things off to increase the sharpness of the image.  Heck, a game with no anti-aliasing is sharper than one WITH it, so its an odd word to use to describe a plus of a game as most people would consider that a negative.

 

I can only assume they meant it looks more polished, sharper is definitely the wrong word.
