If they follow through with 3-D Mario, Smash Brothers, and Mario kart I'll be happy. Well, and a wonderful 101 release date.

Last year taught us not to get too hyped, but that's hard not to do isn't it?

Wasn't last E3 a bust for all of the big 3? I don't remember really anyone of them "winning" 2012

nintendo showed pikmin 3 at the start and everyone was like "YAA!!" then died, and microsoft and ps3 didn't show anything spectacular themselves
this year nintendo has automatically won, also info with next gen consoles of the ps4 and xbox 720. this year how can you not get hyped up?
Well, I've finally found my Starfox, and I love it.

I don't think I'd be too disappointed. I'd be a little worried if nothing important for WiiU was shown, but you can't forget about Nintendo Directs. The one a few months back was better than the past E3 or two, but I'm expecting to be blown away a decent bit this year.
Some people always have a cellphone on them. I'm so awesome I always have a 3DS.

Not much I can do really. I'll go ahead and buy Mario U, Zelda U, Pikman 3, Rayman Legends -you know the games I got the Wii U for in the first place
I seriously doubt Nintendo will cancel any of those titles

I'll go on a massive suicidal rampage turning a small town having to do with nocturnal creatures and turn people into zombies.
...seriously, all of these "WAT DO IF NINTENDO NO HAVE MAGICAL EXPLODING PONY" threads are getting old.
What'll I do? I'll continue on with my freaking life because they're JUST VIDEO GAMES.

All they need is gameplay. I mean look at the 3DS, not the best console but in the trailers at the eshop I see is gameplay and that interests me. On the hand, Playstation store only shows text and that don't interest me. I say gameplay will save it but they will take a slating for the low graphics but they will be praised for the gameplay and story.

Wasted opportunity. E3 is going to be their opportunity to show gamers why they should be buying a Wii U
instead of ps4 and 720. If they fail majorly it will show they need new leadership and I will be calling for Iwata to resign....IMMEDIATELY.
You were almost right. A huge part of the global population can afford more than one console if they want them. Nintendo isnt going to concince the majority of 360 and PS3 gamers to buy a Wii U instead of the 720 and PS4, that isnt going to happen, Nintendo doesnt really offer the same experience, but if Nintendo can convey the idea that the Wii U brings a lot of great experiences to table, then they have a good chance of convincing that audience to buy the Wii U for its exclusive offerings. Your Call of Duty gamers on 360/PS3 arent going to buy a Wii U to play Call of Duty, they will get the 720/PS4 for that, but they may be willing to buy a Wii U for Zelda, Smash Bros, and Bayonetta.

Yeah last year was pretty much an all around bust.

I don't think he means it like that, i think he was trying to ask how would you react and what would you say to fans/nintendo

We already know they'll be showing 3D Mario, Mario Kart, and SSB for Wii U. I also expect to see Retro's title, Monolith's "X", Bayonetta 2, TW101, Pikmin 3, Zelda:WW HD, and surprise announcements as well.
Basically, if Nintendo delivers an underwhelming and unimpressive E3 with THIS lineup, then I won't know what to think anymore. They would've completely screwed up.

I think Smash will only be shown in trailer form, no playable demo just yet.

I'll be sad but... it doesn't really matter. I know games I want are coming for the Wii U, that's all I need.

Oh they will impress (Check January's Nintendo Direct for proof!)

It already has been confirmed we will have a playable demo of MKU. 101 and Smash Bros. have been in development for ages so we will certaintly see something if not at E3 than at the begining of 2014.
