A mysterious title was rated by the OFLC today. The Australian classification board has added in an entry for something called “Tekken Revolution”, a multi-platform release.

As far as we know, Namco Bandai hasn’t announced any such project. The OFLC does categorize the title under the “Computer Games” category and gave it an “M” rating – targeted for players 15 years and over.

Tekken Revolution’s OFLC rating comes hot on the heels of Namco Bandai’s “Tekken Arena” trademark filing in Europe. Could the two be related?

I'm just hoping the Wii U gets this. I'm not quite sure if Namco knows Nintendo is cool or they are stupid like Activision. I'm dying for some third party love.

Like Capcom, Namco has been on good terms with Nintendo, i can see them being major supporters of the Wii U in the future (especially since their helping with the development of ssb4, which should cast aside any doubts they have about the Wii U being "underpowered")

Hopefully its Tekken X Street Fighter, I mean, the next Tekken will have Heihachi dead from old age now.

I hope whatever Tekken game is announced, Harada decides it's a good idea to bring it to the Wii U as well.

 

I'm still hoping for TXSF, but I'd definitely be okay with Tekken Revolution if the game's real.
