Masahiro Sakurai (Creator of Kid Icarus Uprising) said he wasn't going to create a sequal of the game because he doesn't believe he can make a better game, so instead of a sequal, how about a spinoff about Magnus. 

 

For those of you that have played the game (spoiler if you haven't played it), during the second chapter when you kill dark lord you find out its a woman that Magnus knows, nothing else was said about them 2, so maybe a game about magnus in the past with his adventure about that girl? how they knew each other, how she became dark lord etc (and of course, how the HELL Magnus was able to kill underworld troops on his own.) because its odd that they created a connection between them 2 and not talk about it ever again in the game.

 

Thoughts guys/gals?

I dunno, having a side character hardley a focus on the story doesn't seem to fit, like if Zeke from Infamous gets his own game.

 

The only team that for me that comes to mind: Platinum Games. They would create the most badass Kid Icarus game.

Dunno really, it'd be a good backdrop for a prequel, but honestly, I didn't like him, he had nothing that boomed out at me, it was also a quick chapter. They'd have to REALLY do justice with him to make it warrant a purchase from me.

I don't think he should let this franchise die so soon, I really enjoyed the original (and 3DS version of it) and I also enjoyed uprising. I would most likely enjoy another version, maybe a mix of the two? (Have no clue how'd that work though)

Id love for the series to take a different direction than uprising. Id prefer a semi open world game like zelda, with the ever increasing ability to double jump/float/glide/fly being the main driving force behind exploration.
