my name is Destri, I don't currently own a Wii U, I did own an original Wii from launch, and I played some quality games on it, Mario Kart Wii being the one that me and a lot of friends played online the most, even though the Wii was the console that got me back into gaming (Sony PS One was the last game console I owned prior) I couldn't help but take a gander at what else was on offer, console wise! so I ended up with all 3 consoles, xbox being the console of choice at the moment, but that could change come next gen? anyway, I've not ignored this new Wii U console, more like I have been monitoring what other people made of it before purchasing one, so hopefully I'll check out a few game threads here and you never know...just maybe..

Hi Destri. Welcome!
You were not the only one ho owned more than one console. Actually, given how different consoles were last gen, it`s understandable.
I hope you find enough reasons to buy a Wii U. It`s a really great system and it already has great games with more coming before year`s end.

Thank you, I'm sure I will be getting one, I still also have a stack of old consoles & games as well, snes, 64, cube, and a load of sega stuff... just can't seem to let go
