Wowser when i first began to download the update it gave me an estimate time of 52 minutes thankfully after a couple of minutes that dropped down to 20 minutes.

Not to sound patronising but did you check the system settings to see if the update is available? Just as America and Europe seem to have the update available at around the same time.

I'm downloading this now and I only have 16 minutes left until the update is complete. I'm so excited to get Super Mario World and play that again after such a long time ;D.

This. I have no update yet and I'm looking on download management

Look in settings, the second last icon on the bottom row and do an update.

The download manager is designed not to destroy their servers.

 

Also, my upad's lost connection to my console like 3 times during the installation part, so keep calm and do panic.

Ritch go to the actuall system settings and look for the system update there in the options as far as I'm aware its available in America and UK not sure about Australia since cannon said he hasn't seen the update available yet

Yeh I lost connection to the pad twice so far during installation

What about Japan?

Not sure about Asia I'm afraid

Best way to check is via system settings and see if your Wii u will do a system update through there if not then obviously your region is yet to get the update
