Im on the verge of losing all hope for Nintendo so to all the users and Nintendo fans on this site heres some questions i want answered to bring me back.

 

 

How can Nintendo doing Directs instead of attending E3 be better?

 

Could 1st party titles still help the Wii U's sales even with the poor advertising coming from Nintendo is doing for the system?

 

Could the Wii U still become a success even without the hardcore and causal crowd on board?

 

How can Nintendo win over the core gamers before the ps4 launch?

 

How can Nintendo win over the core gamers after the ps4 launch?

 

How long could it take before Iwata's new role NoA CEO open his eyes to the western gaming world?

 

What can Iwata do once he realize interest western games and western 3rd party developers?

 

What 3rd party games are confirmed to come to the Wii U?

 

What ps4 games are confirmed to be ported to the Wii U?

 

If Nintendo fails to make the Wii U look attractive before the launch of the ps4 and nextbox, would it be too late.

1. Doing directs = get straight to the games, no wasting time showing people who are bad at the game or just making  a show of themselves on stage or showing things we honestly don't care about. (like business stuff)

2. First party only games has worked in the past, it will work again

3. Again, its worked in the past, it will work again.

4. They wont. People come to nintendo for first party games, they don't come to nintendo for fifa or bioshock or other 3rd party games like that (and others like first party sony games better anyway)

5. Same as above.

6. Probably never, 

7. A lot of things, he just chooses not to do them, hes a Japanese kind of guy who knows what the japanese want, we need a second person helping him or replace him for someone who knows the western gaming world

8. almost all eshop games, Dues x, CoD Ghost MAYBE, Metro, Tom Clancy, Splinter cell, weaker games like disneys infinity, sniper elite 2, black flag, duck tails,  lego batman, fast n furious, watch dogs, Batman: Arkham Origins, Castle of Illusion, Resident Evil Revelations, Lego Marvel Super heroes, 

9. None, all ports coming are PC ports, (I THINK)

10. launch is end of this year, so no, i would say the wii u has failed or succeeded  at the end of 2014, start of 2015, and we won't find its final fate until the end of 2015.

How can Nintendo doing Directs instead of attending E3 be better? Instead of being a conference of "thank you for buying, our stuff is really successful, (please don't kill us investors), here's a game" like most E3 conferences usually are, it'll give them a chance to go in-depth on whatever games they decide to look at on their own time, rather than trying to squeeze everything into a hour-long conference.

 

Could 1st party titles still help the Wii U's sales even with the poor advertising coming from Nintendo is doing for the system? It's worked out well for them before with the N64 and GameCube.

 

Could the Wii U still become a success even without the hardcore and causal crowd on board? Uh...no, it couldn't. By that point, you've knocked out 100% of any possible userbase. o_o...

 

How can Nintendo win over the core gamers before the ps4 launch? Announce a dudebro shooter with a ton of F-bombs and gore worse than God of war, I guess.

What ps4 games are confirmed to be ported to the Wii U? Uh...we don't even have any multi-plat games that're being made specifically for the PS4 to "be ported" to the Wii U. Any multiplat games that're being made for it right now are most likely being ported from the PS3 or PC versions.

 

If Nintendo fails to make the Wii U look attractive before the launch of the ps4 and nextbox, would it be too late. Bullcrap. More than likely, it'll just be another PS2-GCN-Xbox situation in terms of power.

It won't. Nothing is bigger than E3. Not even Directs. 

 

Well, they have been in the gaming industry for 30 years BECAUSE of their exclusives that sell millions.

 

We don't know yet, its not a year to specify this.

 

Have Reggie start kneeling before Rockstar to port GTAV to Wii U.

Either make deals with them or localize their Japanese games.

1. I like how people don't realize that E3 is becoming less and less important every year... Microsoft is showing their console before E3, and Sony showed the PS4 in February.

2. First party is Nintendo's strong suit.

3. Wii was the highest selling console last gen.... and it didn't have any of the "HARDCORE" games that you think Nintendo is so doomed without....

4. Lots of gamers buy multiple consoles. I buy Nintendo consoles for their first party games and the occasional third party exclusive. Lots of gamers do this....

5. Continue to release good first party games. Smash Bros alone is a system seller. Lemme know when the PS4 gets some of those.

6. We'll see.

7. I don't think they need to try and appeal to western devs. Third party really isn't an issue at this point. Nintendo is generous with indie devs, and the third party lineup already looks a lot brighter than it did with the Wii.

8 and 9 were already answered.

10. There's not a huge power gap, so I don't see the relevance of this question.

It's a silly thread.  Some of the questions, like "What can Iwata do once he realize interest western games and western 3rd party developers?" don't even make sense.  I have no idea what you're asking there.

 

It's also an arrogant thread.  Questions that you need answered?  Why do you need them answered?  And why should we scramble to try to answer them for you?  You may not have meant it to be that way, but it comes across like you are demanding that we all scramble about to make sure "Blade of Dyna" is satisfied with Nintendo's business operations.  We're here because we like Nintendo games, and from your profile it seems like you do, too.  So why are you so worried?  You're going to get your Zelda and your Kirby.  Nintendo is not on the verge of going out of business, even if the Wii U turns out like another Gamecube, which it doesn't look like it will.

 

People have been posting doom and gloom threads about Nintendo every day.  If you want to know what people have in response to pretty much every question you've asked (except maybe the ones that don't make any sense), you should look through those other threads instead of starting yet another one, in which you pose 10 questions that you need answered and expect other forum users to take you seriously.
