I can't believe I forgot it, but Ouran High School Host Club. The manga went on for quite some time after where the anime ended. I loved the way the anime adapted it, so I'd love to see them continue. Even though that seems pretty much hopeless at this point. =(

Anime is used to sell more mango, p. much so unless the mango finishes there's probably not going to be the need to make an anime of it if there already was one.
From time to time production companies and the likes of tvtokyo etc. look around for old mangos to make into anime to fill a tv slot, like "Itazura na Kiss" for example.
