Um, yeah that is Plenty good enough for gaming, Running SLI mode on 2 650ti's, and an I5 3570k, Which is the 3570k Ivy bridge? and how much RAM do you have?

that should be ok, maybe just have the one graphics card & either get another later when they are cheaper.

it would be worth you getting a smaller & faster HD maybe 250GB or 320GB for the OS & the games then use another for storing stuff on a 1TB would be enough for that.

you don't really need Win7 Ultimate you should be fine with Win7 Pro.

Any PC is good for editing. This laptop can't play any game without some lag, but it edits.

It's kind of a budget PC as far as gaming PCs go, but hopefully it will get the job done.

Eh, it's more in the mid-range for a gaming PC but you should be fine. Might have to lower settings a bit though so your framerate won't suffer.

yeah im new and only have a £650 budget as for windows 7 ultimate I got it as it was the cheapest I could find weird I know, do you think I could do recording gameplay with this as I think that 2 650ti's are better than a single 670 and I will be over clocking it the ram and processor

I think its a good build for its price and it can play games normally on high.

I would add some RAM for rendering and a good NVIDEA card for Video performance. I believe Premiere Pro has much much much better performance with Nvidea Quadro CUDA technology.

So, it depends on the editing software. If you use Avid you can buy a good add-on which outperforms a lot of other so called fast editing machines.

Personally I have 32 Gb RAM on my Mac Pro

Oh craps...I only now see your budget....Forget all of the above

A lot of my hardware expert friends will laugh at more than 8GB. Not that you can't use more, but it would be extremely difficult most of the time.

Well, I don't know but Aftereffects just uses most if them, up to 28gb and I can see it while monitoring. And I had a really big speedjump of almost 40% when I upgraded from 8 to 32. I use a 64 bit 8 core mac but I'm not really a hardware guy. (Ps. My mac has 32, thought it was more, but wasnt)

It's decent.

You have a good setup for gaming and editing.

My setup:

EVGA GTX 660ti

AMD Phenom II 955 BE
8GB Kingston DDR3 RAM 1600Mhz

500GB HDD

I can't remember the full specs on my Motherboard. I just know that it's an MSI board.
