The 3Ds doesn't have a strap so i'm paranoid with.
The 3DS is a handheld, you don't need a strap for it. All the other DS's didn't use a strap.

If I remember correctly, they did sell a strap with the Mario Kart logo when Mario Kart DS came out.
The post above was certified to be simply smashing by the Wii U Forum Staff.

Now that is an accessory I would get!The Wii U should come with Zelda brand Magnetic Gloves: No longer do you need to worry about dropping the controller, getting it dirty or getting it knock out of your hands.

So long as they give me the divine power of Looking Cool. Because we all know Coolness is the deciding factor of Gloves. The Wii U should come with Zelda brand Magnetic Gloves: No longer do you need to worry about dropping the controller, getting it dirty or getting it knock out of your hands.

You can put the strap of one of the Wii Remotes on your 3DS. One of my friends did that...
The original DS Phat was the last handheld i had and it came with a black strap

Anyways, back on topic:
I don't think the controller needs any protection.
Have you ever seen someone drop a tablet by accident, or it sliding out of their slightly sweaty hands. No? Didn't think so...

That's a terrible argument because a tablet slipping out of your hands is actually plausible and the Wii U isn't a bloody tablet.
The Wii U remote is BIG. There is no way in hell you're gonna drop it by accident and concerns about motion controls are obsolete because there will be no game in which you're holding a Wii U controller loosely with one hand and waving it like a flag.
