It is usable, but barely. There is no content/follow page, and you can't edit comments. Can't even jump to a specific page easily, so you have to spend a long time clicking the next or back buttons.
And adding comments inline is pretty laggy, at least on my 9790 with a 1ghz processor.
Is there any plans for a revamp? Or would it be considered? Thanks.

Well, I really have no idea how I can actually improve the mobile version of this site, as it would be like improving the mobile version of IP Board...
Usually, I just use the full version of the site if I'm on my phone.

You've already been told nothing can be done about the mobile site, so your options are to either get a new browser, or to suck it up.

If you want someone to actually program an entire app that works with the IP Boards format, good luck finding too many people actually willing to do that for just a single forum without being paid.

I think the mobile version is fine. Not a lot that needs loading, making it fast. Quick access to pages, and editing comments is very simple.

I'd rather not have a mobile app. You'd have to develop it for all platforms or there will still be people unhappy, and god forbid a major change to an existing OS requires a rewrite of the code.
It would be easier to offer a desktop theme that is lightweight and can scale down to a half-VGA screen no problem. like at macstack.net.
The again, what Macstack did may be too difficult to implement here.

We still have a "lo-fi" version, it's just handled differently in IPB 3 than it was in 2. We're removing the specific /lofiversion/ directory, however we will be replicating the same functionality via a special skin. If you want to be sure that search bots only use the new lofi skin, you can setup that using the new User Agent matching system in IPB3.
Is that still the case?
