Word of mouth.

HEY FRIEND COME OVER AND PLAY THIS NEW MARIO KART DEMO

FRIEND IS HAPPY AND SAYS OH MY GOSH GOLLY GOSHKINS I WANT A WII U NOW TO BUY THAT GAME WHEN IT COMES OUT

And all demo's can be buggy, this is just a cop-out.

Let's be real here, how many gamers actually have friends who aren't gamers?

Smash Bros beta for the eShop would basically ensure quality online. Kids Icarus Uprising had a very good online service, with that team AND Namco working on Smash 4? it's going to be good both single player and online

Totally agree w/ this. I play Tekken Tag Tournament 2 often and the online is pretty good. Smash NEEDS this. This way, when I curbstomp people online there will be no excuses. Granted, the online wasn't good, but I disliked how people tried to put the full blame on Brawl's wifi when they were just bad players. However, no online is going to be perfect, if people want to play other smashers completely lagless, they're gonna have to go to tournies.

I think they could do some system to delete the demos 2 days after E3, and offer it to people who have the console.

Because, ok, they want to show the games for people that don't has the WiiU yet, but what's the problem in showing the demo for people who DON'T HAVE and for people that HAVE the console?

Would only show the games for more people. Me for example would call all my friends to play the new Smash and Mario demos, and I know about 3 of them that would get crazy about it, and would buy the console instantly.

What a poor excuse. Demos can always be glitchy.

For all we know some of the demo games could still be in beta. I don't consider most eshop demos in beta stage.

Isnt showing people who don't own a wiiu e3 demos that might not work properly  a bad idea? What if the demo crashes or god forbid looks a bit crap, surely that'll put off potential wiiu buyers? Not everyone might get that its an unfinished demo and assume its just a rubbish system?

I hear voices in my head all the time, telling me what to do. But I just ignore them and carry on killing.

After seeing The XBox One presentation, I would answer: Microsoft.

I know several of my friends that don't game. Anyone that is going to nitpick their friend only on what they like is arrogant.

I can see where y'all are comin' from here, but, hey! If Nintendo charged, say, 99 cents per E3 demo on the eShop, they could make some profit...

I think the real issue here is that I can't recall Nintendo really ever giving finished demo's of their triple A titles like Mario and Zelda.
Your more likely to be given a bonus game or a free piece of software than a demo...
Which tbh I'm all right with just seeing videos till I buy the games and play them myself!
