They revealed a trailer and only the date as 2014 to be released.
Is it any way possible that, that 2014 is a roughly estimated release date?
That maybe they could change it to fall of 2013?
Btw, how far along are they in development?

We don't know how far they are in development. Development began in February 2012, so the game is probably roughly 45-50% done. That's an estimate of mine. I doubt it. If you want Smash to be rushed, then it'll be horrible. I rather wait and get a good product than a rush one. It'll be launch in March 2014 anyway imo.

I say we're lucky if we see the game before the Holidays 2014. It's not coming out this year no matter how much you want it to. It's rare to see a game release ahead of schedule (unless it's rushed), and even rarer for that company to be Nintendo.

I'd say Summer 2014 is a safe bet. I think that the 3DS version if they only focused on that could be released this year though.

You need to remember, they need to make 2 games, so it will take a lot longer then past games.

Don't count on it,They said both version will have the same amount of characters and i doubt we'll know the full roster before the end of 2013.

Its no way likely to come out this year and even more likely to be out late next year probably for the holidays.

I'm with Rod and everyone else here. Although I think you should keep your eyes peeled on the Nintendo website and see what they got on early release dates.

I think Nintendo care a lot about this game and want it to be perfect, which I don't mind, it's probably more likely to be pushed pack than brought forward, which I don't mind, the wait will be worth it, that's probably why we didn't get an exact release date, wow not even a month of the year lmao.

I think Nintendo will be following the same E3 formula of last year. Id wager that everything they showed will be available before April 2014.

I don't know exactly why SB takes so long to develop for since it isn't really an extremely complex game however i know it must take a long time to get those mechanics refined perfect, i would much prefer they release something that is worthy of it's name than a rushed cash in. Nintendo should release more CG trailers for new characters over the course of the year to get us all hyped for the release.
