The levels look to be creative and fun.
The game mechanic with driving on walls and upside down is really smart.
Not to mention the game modes they will introduce.
Looks to be a giant step up from Mario Kart Wii. Though I enjoyed it myself a lot.
Anybody gonna buy it the day it comes out?

But yeah definitely a day one purchase for me. I just wish it was coming out in December, even if that meant the 3D mario was moved to spring 2014.

I have to agree with you, Mario Kart 8 looks amazing! I am eagerly awaiting it's launch, and I hope to see some of you from this forum in some online races.
What I really think looks interesting is the antigravity feature. This is something innovative and fresh, which I've been looking for in a new Mario Kart title (they usually just feel like the same game with an added gimmick). Mario Kart 8 should be amazing when it finally launches.

I'm definitely interested in getting Mario Kart 8, especially since we have the option of using bikes again.
I wonder what the full character roster will be this time.
