There are several fires going on in Colorado right now. The worst it seems, is the Black Forest fire by Colorado Springs. It has been going on for about 3 days, and it is still 0% contained. About a hundred houses have been burned.

Reminds me of last years fires. There were several devastating fires that burned a lot of homes down. The worst was the Waldo Canyon Fire. 

 

The fire by the royal gorge is about 20 % contained though. They are worried that the bridge will burn. Currently it is still standing.

I actually drove by the Black Forest Fire on my way to the Best Buy event in Denver yesterday... I think the highway was about a mile away from it. I can see the flames from my house at night too. 

 

Hopefully they get it contained soon....

It's sad. I live about 10 minutes away from downtown Denver and the air is soo thick & smoggy.

I hope everyone around those areas is ok, the US hasn't had much luck this year at all
