When I can't sleep I leave it on with a 2 hour timer, with no disk inside because the fan helps me sleep.....

I think you need a dedicated white noise machine. o_o Or something else to play waterfall/rain sounds.

because that's a good use of power, its not like you can buy something that is cheaper and doesn't burn a hole in your power bill, you know, like a white noise machine

You knwo what? Both my fan and my computer noise helps me sleep. It's such a regular thing that without it, it feels weird

I use my fan every night. The white noise helps me fall to sleep.

I just leave my car horn going, I park it in the garage beneath my room, lock it, touch it, and then "BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEEP" all night long of course I have to jump start it in the morning, but what the hell ya know, it helps me sleep!
