So, anyone compete today in your town's Bug Off Competition?

 

If so, what kinds of bugs did you catch and did you win and prizes or place in the top 3?

 

 

 

Award ceremony has been cancelled. I had some time to compete today and captured some moths, butterflies, grasshoppers and dragon flies.

 

I got some rewards for breaking a few records.

 

• kiddie wall clock
• stripe bed
• modern dresser
• paulownia closet

I caught the Birdwing Butterfly and placed 1st place. I was awarded a cobweb clock and a gold cup.

I caught a blue & pink winged butterfly and won it automatically with 77 points.

I won 1st place and a cicada boombox with my birdwing butterfly i've had stored for half the week, lel

i won  1st place with a bee, and I received a ladybug chair, and a caterpillar couch

Idr what i won, wasnt anything that got me excited but won with the Bird wing Butterfly for 117. Checked back at about 8pm, and second place had 116.... need to watch it more often next time i think, just in case ><

Sounds like lots of you got 1st place or won prizes. Luckily I won as well even though I didn't have time to compete the last 2 hours. This morning I woke up to the 1st place trophy.

 

Lots of cool bugs and large ones some of you caught, and cool prizes.
