So I haven't been playing my wii u as much as i wanted recently. And at first i wasn't planning on getting any of these games but now i'm thinking about getting one of them but I have a problem...

 

Game & Wario - Looks like a cheap Nintendoland Party game and Multiplayer. (Want a game i can play on my own aswell)

 

Pikmin 3 - Haven't played the first 2 and may be too complicated for me.

 

Which one should I get or should I go for a game that is already out? Or should I wait a few months not playing wii u very much until the big hitters come out.

IMO I've never played the Pikmin series and it looks amazing (gameplay wise). Game and Wario I'd only buy when it was on sale or pre-owned. Try something new, you might love it. Or see if they release a demo!

Does Pikmin play like Starcraft or other RTS games? If so and it comes with local multi, I know what I will be playing.

I'm not a big fan of the Pikmin games but I would say out of those two Pikimin 3 will be a lot better value for money and probably a lot more enjoyable as long as you have no aversion to RTS games. As for games already available it all depends on what you already have.

PIKMIN 3!!! It looks like it's a huge step from the two games. Game & Wario looks  ok but the warioware games were better imo.

I will be getting both but I agree, Pikmin 3 more....

 

Just the simple fact that you can see the excitment, passion, and love Miyamoto has for his creation. A lot of hard work, sweat and tears were put into the project and you can see how excited he is to play HIS OWN GAME. That speaks volumes.

Get Pikmin 3. If you want to play those before, skip the first one, it's not worth playing it entirely. Also, it,s not heavily story-based, so it won't be too difficult for you to play the game. And always keep in mind, if it's too hard for you, it's too hard for everybody. Pikmin is a nerf-wrecking game. That's why it's so damn godly.

I've just started playing a new file of Pikmin 2 on my black Wii, just to get in the spirit of it before the third instalment is released. I find it's an extremely difficult game to complete without plenty of purple sprays, especially the last few caves.

 

I am going to get both games but if I had to choose, then deffo Pikmin 3.

I wouldn't say to automatically skip the first one, I actually enjoyed it a lot more than 2 just because it had the time limit, although I'm aware many people hate it for some reason.

@OP:If you can avoid the bad ending in Pikmin 1 then it'll be fine. (Has bad, good, and perfect endings) It's one of those "easy to learn, hard to master" games, very easy to get into.

Couldn't agree more. And yea, I was talking about skipping the first one because it's not necessary to learn the general game mecs. Other than that, the first one as well is a godly game.

Hands down Pikmin 3, Game & Wario looks terrible.

It depends on you as a gamer. If you want another fun party game then Game & Wario, If you want a game with more of a story and objectives then Pikmin 3

It doesn't play like other RTS games. I does have a local multiplayer mode.
