SO since Nintendo's remaking Wind Waker will there be any extra features like they did with Ocarina of Time 3D? Like maybe a Master Quest or something?
Will There Be ANy Extra's on Wind Waker HD?

Oh okay I can understand no DLC but why not any extra's for Wind Waker? is it because they want to make it be more like the original version?

I dunno, I was hoping for a Master Quest and a Difficulty selection at minimum, but as I've never played Wind Waker, It'll all be new to me. So I guess it doesn't affect me too much

I think that OOT 3D had a Master Quest just because it was already made, so all they had to do was touch it up for the 3DS version and port it. Wind Waker never had a Master Quest variant, so they probably won't bother with making a new one for WWHD. OOT 3D did have new content in terms of a boss rush mode (or the ability to replay bosses, I don't remember), so that's always a possibility. The only confirmed new content is the Miiverse features.

Confirmed, Note in the bottle with miiverse messages and faster sailing. They are also tweaking the "find the triforce" part of the game.

Well, I've finally found my Starfox, and I love it.

They haven't confirmed any new content being there or not. Just because there's no Master Quest doesn't means there's no extra content.

Aonuma already said there won't be new content.

Well, that sucks. It's just a straight up port, then. That's too bad.

I don't think so no, I think they want to stick to the original game as much as possible.

Not necessarily. From what has been told they are changing the tingle tuner, speeding up the ship travelling and the biggest seems to be the speeding up the process of finding the triforce. What that means, is anyone`s guess.

it almost sounds like they are making it too easy... I liked that it took a bit to sail form place to place. Sailing was fun, you found cool stuff along the way, and it made the world feel big and in so doing made the adventure feel big. Finding a map that leads you to another map wasn't a problem eithier. I didn't finish wind waker but I liked what I played. I just hope these changes don't subtract from the game in a meaningful way.

I dont understand why they arent adding anything as simple as a difficulty setting either, but you can always play the game without taking any extra hearts. If you play a Zelda game with just 3 hearts you will likely find it far more challenging. If this was a $40 game than I could understand it being a simple straight port, but its pretty much a sure thing that they will sell it for $60, and thats digging into the consumer. Im a sucker and will pay it because I love WW, but I dont know how it will do once your done with the hardcore following.

I was going to get it, now I question my decision.
I need a reason to buy this game. HD alone isn't good enough to justify a full price purchase of a ten year old game.
