I've heard from some people that Miiverse is a very strict forum on the Wii U and was wondering what makes people think it's strict?
What Makes Miiverse "Strict"?

I don't find it strict unless stupid children think they can swear or draw genitals (lol) and get away with it.
To be honest I have seen drawings and text than makes me wonder how they weren't removed by the mods. I find Miiverse a friendly, sociable, mature and fun place anyone can enjoy.
If you want to swear and act like a child Xbox Live is still recruiting.

But it's still fun to post there.

Because of how Nintendo moderate it & the limiting of one post per minute thats leads to broken conversations & debates.

I reported someone and told him I was doing so and then I got a warning for "bullying."

Some things they ban people for are pretty outrageous.

Let's see. The first time I was banned, it was for jokingly asking someone to cam with me. The second time, I got banned for jokingly calling someone on my friend's list a pervert. (I actually received the ban a MONTH after I made the comment....) I guess I can accept the first ban, but the second one was considered harrassment. Are you kidding me? I'd say it's pretty strict.

Because it's not the mind-searing, soul-ripping, FBI-alerting cesspool of madness that is a particular board on 4chan; and I'm not talking about /mlp/.

Just because it's for all ages and it's only fair, hell we've seen what people can do online, heck the internet has already ruined my childhood *cries in corner*

I took 2 hours drawing this picture of
http://i1.kym-cdn.co...562/735/83b.gif
(Smash Bros JonTron ain't havin that shi!t)
Got lots of likes but taken down in 6 minutes
Wish me luck. I'm about to unleash my first vaguely pegasus generator shaped drawing on the Miiverse!
In all seriousness I wouldn't mind over moderation in public channels as long as there are always avenues where you can chat with your friends and call them all the hilarious names you want.

Almost all good forums have a time limit on how soon you can post. Prevents people just spamming and creating more nonsense and ruining a thread.
To the OP, strict is only how you perceive it. If you have common sense and maturity, you will find MiiVerse refreshing and won't even think about it being restrictive in any way.

It is strict, but it makes sense because the community is open to all ages. Nintendo wants to make sure that there is no incidents because that would destroy Nintendo's reputation in the eyes of adults who trust Nintendo's hardware and software with kids.
If anyone wants a more adult community they can simply feel free to visit forums like this one.

I'd say pretty, I was going to say "Oh ma God" but it said that I couldn't post that. I guess it's good in a way, you don't wanna to see a lot of inappropriate drawings and peeps swearing. It shows that nintendo actually care about these things.
