I'm not entirely comfortable trusting a chinese site I have never heard of, as I don't know of I can identify it and it's products as legitament or not. I'll just wait.

I can't wait to get this, judging by the size of the battery housing in the GamePad and the size of the official internal battery seems like Nintendo made it deliberatly small just to suck more money out of you for extra accessories, oh look we all know Nintendo do it, Wii Motes are £35 new, they are more expensive than PS3/360 controllers which are about £28-£30 new, THEY ARE ONLY HALF THE FRIGGIN CONTROLLER you still have to buy the Nunchuck which ontop is about £14 AND THEY ARE LAST FRIGGIN GEN!

I really think Nintendo wanted to make the control pad as light as possible so people would not say its a heavy brick or they would say wow, that's really light when they picked it up for the first the, like I did, but for me, even with the larger battery, the pad does not seem too heavy.

My guess would've been that they did it to keep costs down, but they probably only saved $10.

Its not though is it, the Wiimote + Nunchuck are still current technology for the Wii U.  I agree that its seriously overpriced though, you should AT LEAST get the nunchuck included for that price.

So they are still last gen controllers that work with current tech, still last gen, I agree though, if they need to cost that much fine but at least give us the other bloody half lol

I suspect you are partially correct, I believe it is a combination of weight and cost. Sure we think it only saves them $10, but multiply that by the number of consoles made and that can quickly add up to $30 million.

there must have been a number of reasons that made them feel they had to put a pint sized battery in for a pack in, obviously the pads battery compartment was designed for a larger battery.

Yes Asia and Play Asia are both based in Hong Kong and are both legitimate and reputable. I've been importing stuff from them for years and never had a problem. If they have it then I would consider ordering from them.

Same here, totally safe. although lol, i once got a package from them in a nondescript brown bag. It totally looked like drugs lol. But the game was fine!

Really you shouldn't need to play more than 3 hours a session. Nintendo would have been thinking about releasing a console with a competitive price, a bigger battery will greatly increase the cost.

Unexpectedly, this system has turned into an always on system for me. I may not play a game for 3 hours but I brouse the net, watch netflix, and check out Miiverse. So for me, the extra battery life is a big plus.
