I haven't touched it in I think two days. It's a good game, but in my opinion gets boring very fast. You pretty much expand your house, fill up your museum, do projects for your town, and explore/play on the island. Other than that, there really isn't much left to do. Sure you can visit other people's town, but AGAIN... it gets a little boring fast.
I think its because the lack of the holidays.

I still haven't bought it... now I feel down because it I feel like it will get boring after a while like any other game...

I play it about 30 mins to 1 hour a day sometimes longer. Don't burn your self out on it.

I always make sure to take as long as possible, so the game will last forever.
For example, I just got the second house expansion even though I play every day.

Guess it depends on the person...I bought it the day it came out..my girlfriend commandeered it and my 3DS and she has been playing easily 1-4 hours a day lol

I play pretty much all day! I have nothing else to do b/c it's summer! I am starting to get bored though. (after more than 120 hrs.)

I don't know, there's still a lot for me to achieve in the game. I only have one piece of the furniture set I'm going for, and haven't unlocked a single PWP from the villagers that I want... So still no police station. =/

A little, but I try to pace it out. I have friends who have become millionaires weeks ago... I'm the exact opposite. Just recently got a second floor.
I think it'll pick up when there's holiday events.
