So quite a few people have shown interest in the Game Development topic I had previously suggested here, so today I'm going to officially announce that we are hoping to actually do one!

In terms of who does what in the group... Well, we aren't going to be making the group too big. 3 people in each field maximum. However, everyone who has shown interest up until this update gets Beta Testing abilities!

People who have shown interest in a certain area will be contacted when we are looking for people in that field. The first type of people we need are Writers and Editors to help out, so expect PMs if you wanted to help there... If you haven't already got them yet

Some details about the game thus far:

• It will be a turn-based RPG. Sorry for anyone who wanted to do a platformer or something, but we're trying to keep things simple. Physics engines are not simple
• It will involve a labyrinth

Not much, but that's because we're putting together a small team before we make the design document. This list should be a biiit bigger a few months from now

Anyway, here is a list of current people and positions:

Project Manager/Lead designer: Wertville*
Lead Writer: Lord N

*Lead Designer in name only. I wish for the design to be a group decision and not just a single person's idea! Beta testers get a bit of a say, too, btw

I could help with the story and graphical assets of the game. I'm an amateur writer, and I'm currently designing logos, desktops and loading screens for an online friend's custom game console.

I can help with sprites. I worked in a small collab making a Lucky Star adventure game. I made the sprite's. All of them. But because the game didn't gain popularity the programmer took it down.

I can only work on story, design and script. But I am still a bit inexperience. Also I am learning to use a 3d program called Blender, but haven't done anything significant yet.

Not necesarily, it could be 2D sprites in a 3D environment.

2D, though we might have the illusion of 3D via the first-person style it will be in.

And I just realized there was another question, so I'll answer that, too...
