I'm just wondering if anyone else has experienced this and if so, could you fix it?
Basically the game says that I have one pikmin on the field as soon as I start another day, of course there isn't one so I can't put it in the squad. This means I can only take out 99 actual pikmin as it think's the hundredth is already on the field.
Has anyone else had this glitch? Or is it just me?
Btw the happens in each area I go to.

Interesting glitch. I haven't heard of it or experienced it (don't have the game).

I may recall the counter is for characters, not just pikmin, it would count both olimar and louie in pikmin 2 iirc.
Mayhap its just counting your pc?
I don't think so, you are allowed to have 100 Pikmin on the field excluding the characters.

That's what i thought. You know, there are these strange birds (I don't know what they are called) who grab your Pikmin and plant it in the ground. If you don't pull it up, it can easily survive the whole night.

Have this on the other pikmin games.
It turn out to be in the ground in far off somewhere. I use the map to find it.

I don't think that's it though, as It's been multiple days and I've been to different map areas now.
I'm pretty sure a pikmin glitched, as I remember one day a pikmin was stuck in some flowers but i couldn't call him or do anything with him. Like he wasn't there, pretty sure I noclipped him.
I think maybe the day ended and the game is counting him as being in the field although he should've been eaten.
It's really annoying because now I can never have a full squad

Aww that sucks then. Hopfully there will be a patch for it. I'll see what happens when I get my copy next so.
