Nintendo started out as a playing card company in 1889, then switched to a video game company in the late 1970s, and today they're still making video games.
I'm pretty sure they will still be around in 100 years or so.

I don't see where Microsoft would go, they are definitely here to stay for a long time. In 100 years I am certain there won't be consoles anymore and Nintendo will be the one running into trouble not Microsoft. As much as I love my Wii U in just 10 years I don't see consoles existing anymore at least not as stand-alone hardware designed for only video games. What will Nintendo do after the Wii U and 3DS?

You do realize that the first part of the Human family (Hominins) have been around for 6-7 million years, right?
Even modern humans (Homo Sapiens) have been around for at least 150-200,000 years.
I'm pretty positive life will still be here in 100 years.
