I was once known here as KillerMario, but since I really like Banjo-Kazooie, I changed my display name to show them my respect

This game looks good, too bad I hate monster hunter, because I really wish I could have fun playing this.
Keep an eye on this one. It might surprise you. Some of the monhun community is up in arms about the changes.
But i feel there is a difference between things that make monhun monhun, like animation priority, and leftovers of archaic level design that need to be evolved.

What complaints have you heard? The only ones I've heard so far are they don't like the graphics (mainly the color saturation in spots) or something stupid that makes no sense.

I put a huge amount of time in freedom unite (+200 hours) but I have to say it looks awfully similar to the other MH's. What are these big changes you've heard about 3dude? Are they gameplay based?

All gameplay based.
Moveset is getting a pretty large overhaul, mostly related to new weapons/ability to jump/environment traversal. Still animation priority based.
Monster climbing a la dragons dogma. There may be an actual jump command.
Areas much much much larger. 2-3x the average normal area size. much less loading.
Game offline mode is more story based than detached mission based, the main focus of the game was adventure style gameplay, possibly including multiple cities you travel between and stuff.

Can't wait, Capcom would be mad not to localise this.
This is where it ends
