I very mush disliked the controls in the demo....this is coming from a fairly novice gamer, so to be taken with a grain of salt. The graphics are great, but I found the whole experience rather confusing and overwhelming. Not for me, but I can see the appeal.

Three times I've been playing The Wonderful 101 demo and I think I'm getting the hang of the controls. The graphics look extremely beautiful in detail, running flawlessly in HD and clocked in at 60 frames per second. Nintendo always saves the best for last now that the demo have finally launched in America! And when the full game is released on September 15th, no way in hell will I ever pass an offer like TW101. Two thumbs up for Nintendo and PlatinumGames... especially director Hideki Kamiya.

IMO it would have been nice to see a slightly higher poly count in some of the heroes, however I can't really argue, Platinum has done a spectacular job with every one of those characters. I can't imagine how much work it would be trying to make every single one of those characters, they are all so unique.

I thought the game would be hard to follow and although it`s a bit chaotic at times, you can follow it and have fun.
With all the combinations needed, it sure isn`t na easy action game to play.
I really liked the demo and maybe one day i will give it a try!

I finished playing the demo a few minutes ago. Not 100% sure what to think. The unite morphs were pretty neat, but I didn't find much in the actual combat. Little enemies? Use the sword. Big enemies? Use the hand. If this is how the game plays, it seems kinda repetitive.
Well once you get used to doing combos it's a lot more fun.
Also it's the first level of course enemies and tactics are gonna be basic
Try some launching combos.
Also for anyone who didn't like the voice acting did you try it in japanese?

I had thIs pre-ordered and paid for back in November or so for a December 2012 release.
Yes it was a launch window game.
So was Pikmin 3. But that was worth the wait.
Side note. ..I wonder if the Wii U wouldn't be such an absolute failure if these were available 7 months ago.

Wow didn't realise this was ment to be a launch game!
Sad but true. File it under "why the Wii u failed with bad ports and no original games."
Yes . I am bitter because I was duped into tHinking the Wii U would be worth damn 9 months ago.
But I am happy I will get 2 good games before the PS 4 comes out.

The game overall sucks. It's ajrpg ring way to hard to be an action game, took 6+year's to make and can be tied as a whole to the downfall of square enix's Japanese output. Why bother making brand new games when we can pump out XIII related games?Lol, so are you saying the voice acting in XIII sucks or the game overall? Either answer, you're still wrong.
On topic, I really love the demo to death after having played more of it. Coop is nuts when I tried it with my brother, and the whole game just oozes of unique flare
