I would get this game, but I'm not sure if I could witchstand the horrendous voice acting... I would probably have to mute the game.
I don't think the voice acting is the only thing that's horrendous IMO...

Had twenty mins playing this and tbh I'm not sure, seems to be about mashing buttons and following a set path, will give it another go later, sound is good, graphics are nothing to shout about animation wise but the art style looks fresh out of a comic.
Watch this and I doubt that you will worry about repetition

.
I'm absolutely speechless and that rarely happens
I'm more hyped about this now then Donkey kong country or 3D world. This game looks so unique and ridiculously good that... Gah I WANT IT!!!
I'm now more hyped for this than Grand Theft Auto lol

Tried it, and it's not my cup of tea. It's Splinter Cell for me, and possibly Sonic for now.

what horrendous? Have you been listening to the same game I have
I guess the over the top cheesy dialogue is a love it or hate it thing.
huzaah, i guess ill just mess around with art acadamy. See how 4 bucks stacks up to my wacam
Which model do you have? I've never bought Colors or Art Academy because of the lack of pressure sensitivity and that I have a tablet anyway.

It's as if Nintendo is saying "bite me" to everyone who is bashing them.

The game looks epic in scope and gameplay.
But... the graphics are not Wii U level fare. (frame-rate aside - which looks silky smooth)
Hopefully, there is a sequel to this game at some point that ups the ante in the models/textures department.
There is a lot of action going on and in some places, very, very many characters on screen at once. but there are many ways to manage that load apart from lower detailed character models.
On the plus side, the STYLE is excellent. A couple of years ago, my parents bought a fortune worth of DVD shows from their childhood. we watch them in marathons together when I visit in the summertime. In 2009, it was old marionette style shows called thunderbirds and Fireball XL5 (Both of which were actually extremely well done. I was in shock that this was from so long ago). They were awesome! Even by today's standards, the storylines and production values were top notch.
This reminds me a lot of them, but with the action meter turned way up. Even the scene composition is astounding in this game.
When I first saw this game previewed by Nintendo, I'll be honest. It just looked like a big mess in my opinion. Now, it looks like a masterpiece.
That said... it's a buy for me and everyone I'm getting Wii U's for this Christmas.

Controls take some time to get used to. The demo wasn't the best offering, but based off the Direct, I am confident in this game.

Are you using the stick or touchscreen?
I find the stick a lot easier to use, though tbh controls only took me a few minutes to get used to.

Lol, so are you saying the voice acting in XIII sucks or the game overall? Either answer, you're still wrong.

I have to admin, I didnt think I would even consider this game. After really paying attention to the Nintendo Direct today on this game, I will be getting it. I am pretty excited about it now and I was pretty impressed with the graphics!! Game play seems just as good if not better then the graphical power of the game.

I just want to freeze, free rotate and zoom the camera, and take some wonderful screens.
Oh, by pushing minus you can cycle through display options.
You can even play on the gamepad only with a little picture in picture action.

I played the demo, and when it comes to the right analog stick, it's actually very easy to make whatever you want at that point. The whip and hammer were very easy to make.
