But there's more than enough games that can be downloaded for the mean time.

Keep in mind this stuff is normally fake. Plus, this is coming from the same people who think paper zelda existsI'd be happy to pay ~$400 but not over $500. Not too bad.

Games that refuse to use Gameplay effectively to do anything are like films that refuse to use cinematography in film to do anything.

Then there's Mexico: $422!
Yeah, not getting the 3DS anytime soon...
That price is really steep... can't imagine the Wii U price
Australian 3DS price was $350 or less.
Did you read my post? I know it cost 350 Australian dollars but I converted all the prices to American dollars to make it simpler. If I compare 230 to 250 then it seems that North America have a higher price than the UK but that isn't so because when converted into the same currency it is North America who get the best deal. Here are all the 3DS launch prices converted to pounds, for example:
US 3DS launch price £152
UK 3DS launch price £229.99 (though it did drop soon after launch)
AU 3DS launch price £231
Europe 3DS launc price £218
It doesn't matter which way you look at it...

Oh man, you bit that so hard.
I may have taken your bait but at least I get my consoles for cheaper, oh yeah!
Remember uk sales tax is 20%. Currently the cheapest 3DS is about £150-160 in the uk. So currently cheapest is about £130 plus tax in the uk. 1 year warranty in the uk but 2 year in mainland europe. All factors to price as long guarantees push up prices slightly.
Ok I give up trying to prove we have it bad here, fine Europe has it amazing UK prices are so cheap, is that what you want to hear?

If it continues to fail the price may be further pushed down but if it starts selling in big numbers the price will recover. I reckon it will start doing serious numbers for christmad and by this time next year an improved model will be out which will drive up sales. The 3DS is even worse than the original DS for being a poor initial design. I think a revised 3DS will do much better numbers.
Wasn't it the DS lite that sold the most of the DS series. The original DS sold well, the DS lite sold even better and then the more expensive DSi models caused a drop in sales but still respectable numbers.
