- Triforce quest – the five Triforce pieces can now be grabbed directly
- Only the remaining three require translated charts instead of eight
- Hero Mode available from the start
- Picto Box has been upgraded
- Upgraded camera could still be used to snap photos of unsuspecting villagers or enemies
- Pictures can go up on Miiverse
- Link can also take funny self-photographs
- Switch between happy, sad, and surprised emotions
- Get the Swift Sail at the auction house after completion of the first dungeon
- No alert via an in-game prompt to signal the special sails availability
- No longer possible to accidentally skip Tingle’s island, as the developers have inserted an introduction to the quirky character into the main quest
- Enhanced first-person camera
- Can now have full movement in that perspective
- Can travel through hallways and shoot arrows like you’re in a FPS

So, like it? Hate it?

I like the changes, especially since Hero Mode's available from the moment you start the game. The only change I don't like is I can't accidentily skip Tingle's Island anymore. (not sure what they mean by accidentally but I don't want anything to do with Tingle that's  not him deciphering the three Triforce maps.)

the camara is good for a true 100% run, the arrow shooting seems rather cool, I may never use it though, the sail moving faster, and getting it after the first dungeon is the best thing ever for this game, the triforce quest.... thank god for doing that xD one of them will most likely be in the 100 floor dungeon on outset. everything else, I could have lived without, but it doesnt hurt to have them

Read about this on IGN and now I'n sold. I wasn't able to beat the original because of the Triforce Quest, and it's fixed now along with many other things.

Some people always have a cellphone on them. I'm so awesome I always have a 3DS.

The 1st person stuff has been in every single 3d zelda since the original ww.

Simply hold the z target button while in a first person weapon mode and you can walk around.

I used to fight the boss of the tower of gods in fps only all the time.

I'm pretty sure you could only move left and right with that, and aiming was limited as well because you only used one stick to aim. Now you can play it like Legend of Zelda: Modern Bowfare 2.

Who needs Skyrim when you've got Zelda?

Hi, my name is Alph. I live on a planet named Koppai. I am famous for saving my planet from starvation. My best friends are Brittany and Captain Olimar, NOT Captain Charlie. I like surfing the KopNet and playing Kopetball.

Yeah, but it was really restrictive and annoying.....

Youve been able to play like that since tp and skyward sword.

Not Twilight Princess: Left and Right rotated Link unless you held the Z-Button, but then you couldn't turn, even with the pointer. You also still couldn't move forward. The first game to allow you to move and aim was Skyward Sword (or Link's Crossbow Training if you want to get specific).

You could move forward, and backward, you simply strafe instead of turn, thats the restriction, that and you had to play finger twister pre tp. As big boss said, it was extremely annoying. And you can still aim at anything you wanted across the entirety of the screen with the ir in tp.

You can also move and gyro aim in oot3d.

Ive been doing first person runs in zelda for a loooooooong time. Use them to manufacture difficulty in zelda games, since there hasnt been a challenge in zelda since lttp.

This is not a new addition to Zelda.

I know it's not new, but the first Zelda game to have first person movement and aiming that wasn't half-assed was Skyward Sword. I don't know where you changed the circle pad's settings to allow movement while aiming, because that aimed when you were in first person. If you wanted to strafe, you held the L Button, and then you lost your ability to turn.

Then why are you still continuing this? My only point was that its not new to Zelda like gamz jirnolesz are attempting to claim.

Also, You can aim and turn with gyro controls while strafing in oot3d.

You're right. We are on the same page with this. It's not new to Zelda, as it was in Skyward Sword. I need to try the gyro aiming and strafting next time I play OoT3D.
