This IS Gamespot, after all. I am not sure how much credibility they still wield with gamers after giving The Last of Us an "8"....far below the rest of the reviewing community. Also, check out the Gamespot reviewer profiles sometime. They take trolling popular games as a badge of honor by saying things like, "Hates all the games you love" and other gems that have no place being expressed by "professionals."
I think the last of us does NOT even deserve 8 so yeah you are right that they lost credibility but if you think it deserves more than 8, then idk.

lol Gamespot. They gave Luigi's Mansion 2 a 6 because if you ran out of lives you got a game over.

I admit I am not a fan of games where you can actually get a proper game over. But I also agree that is not a good reason to give a low score as its just a style of game.

I tried 360 and honestly I still think Wii U is better. Gamespot can fall off a cliff.

I had a 360 and found the games to be rather consistent compared to the Nintendo games, with all of the really fun ones being avialble for the Wii.

I mean, games are games, but the Wii U is potentially a superior console it just doesn't have the bloodlust hype of the other consoles - no world militaries funding research into how to turn adolescent males into neoconservative killtanks. Kirby and Luigi holding hands and adding up pennies to save up for organic mushrooms and stuff.
