Been on Gta for around three hours now and the online option states its not active yet!
Am I missing something or is anyone else got this problem? Two others that I had on Xbox party chat also had the same message.
Is Gta 5 online down?

Wont be up until oct 1 and it will need a dlc for it to work. It will be free tho.

So without the dim witted Google comment seeing as I already checked that option, thanks for the info.
I get the idea about playing the story first but its an odd concept to delay a part of the game that's included.
As a side note has anyone tried and won the car race mission?

I've won the car race mission although that's not exactly impressive. Franklin's special ability just makes it too easy. Maybe I should handicap myself next time.

didnt use his ability once and still found it easy infact i keep forgetting they have abilitys lol

That's separate from GTA Online. That's Rockstar Social Club. You sign up for it separately and link your PSN/XBL/FB/Twitter accounts to it. I wanted to take a picture of a glitch so I signed up lol.
Somehow I saved Franklin's car in the garage and saved the game and bam it cloned itself on top of the car in the garage. So now I have two separate cars for Franklin lmao.

I did sign up to it and went ever i try ti sign in on my ipad it gives me error.

Social Club does seem to be overloaded at peak times, you have to keep trying. Not sure about the Facebook feature though, I don't want a game spamming my wall as my friends will not appreciate it.
