has anyone encountered problems with the internet browser with youtube freezing up the system? before i had no problems but now when i click on a video the advertisement freezes the system.

not at all.
I had some really bad freezing with some locally hosted mp4's, but that was because they were being transcoded badly.

Every time I clicked play on a YouTube video, the Wii U would crash completely. Sometimes, a video would just not play and appear as a black screen.

I had it too yesterday. When i skip the Adds then the Wii U froze every time and had to hard reset it. Today it seems the problem is gone. I will try out more latr today.

Yes I have this problem too. I bet it's YouTube trying to force us to use the app. WELL NO! YOUTUBE WILL HAVE TO FACE WAR BEFORE THAT HAPPENS!

Youtube has been freezing my Wii U as well ^I'm pretty sure that's the reason.

How do we delete cookies on wii u? I have it with every video no mather what website i'm on it freeze on every vid.

You go to the start page and click settings at the top rightHow do we delete cookies on wii u? I have it with every video no mather what website i'm on it freeze on every vid.
Make sure you report it, go to a video that froze you, obviously don't click play, scroll to the very bottom of the page, click "help", scroll back down, click "send feedback", tell them they froze your wii u, and then continue with the instructions until it says thanks.
This is 100% youtube's problem not nintendo's fault.

Strange, I watched some YouTube videos perfectly fine this morning in regards to the "not available on this device" thing. I think the freezing problem was fixed with the system update.
