I pre-ordered the physical copy, so when it's released I'm going to give it a try. Makes it that more challenging for me.

I never played through the whole original game so I think I'm going to do it on normal first but I'm sure I'll play it again, especially since it's a digital download that I can't resell. So I'll probably switch to hero mode the second time.
But since you can change the difficulty at any time I'll probably give hero mode a try on this play-through at some point just to see what it's like.

never played before and went streight for hero mode. got a little past the prison then my gamepad charger broke and my wiiU wont do anything without updating a gamepad.

seems like most are going for hero mode so far. I think I'll wait for the second go-round when I'm REALLY getting hyped for Zelda U

I'll play normal mode first, then maybe hero. Although I never played hero mode in Skyward Sword in full.
