if you're from the US and this video has reached you, then their campaign was successful.

This reminds me about how my Wii U is slowly becoming more valuable every second I own it.

It reached people who already have/are very interested in the Wii U. We need commercials in the US.

The last part of this vídeo is really awesome!

Nintendo should divide this vídeo and put it on tv: one made for kids and one for teens/adults.

Yes the ad is good, but we need them to appear on more than just youtube. I am yet to see any tv adverts for Windwaker HD or the new bundle.

And it was a good move to actually show the system at the end so people aren't like "hurr durr just a wii uppygrade, durrhurr"

Posted this elsewhere and will post again:

TV adverts don't pull like they use to. It's expensive and over priced for the results received from it. When the last gen began (wii/360/ps3) smartphones were just taking shape and not in the hands of masses of people so TV and print advertising was still at its peak.

Today, social and online advertising trumps any other form. This sort of advertising can be more specialized in who it reaches, where it reaches, and when it reaches which gives much more flexibility then traditional TV stuff. I am not saying you won't see TV commercials and ads, especially around holidays and for big releases, but we shouldn't expect much more.

I've seen a ton of Nintendo adwords campaigns, banners, and commercial videos streaming all over the web. Not many people know that this form of advertising can be catered so much that you can choose whether you want males or females to see it, age ranges, geo locations etc. Much better bang for your buck.

In all honesty, I see about as many commercials for Sony/Microsoft game systems on TV as I do Nintendo.

It's okay, not particularly creative.  Just took a bunch of trailers and linked them together with little signs that have dates on them.

I really want NoA to make Wii U commercials but I'm pretty sure they'll just have some kids playing Wii U with parental supervision.

Back when Wii U did have commercials it always showed playing Mario, Lego City etc (Nothing against the games though) and almost always had a parent playing with them or supervising them.  The only commercial that didn't have kids was SiNG Party. Ugh....

Every time I hear someone use mention "advertising" it reminds me of a person just saying something they learned off one of those "word of the day" calendars.

Nintendo must realize even though the Wii was geared to casuals and families the Wii U is more like the Sony and MS's consoles and the kiddy ads won't work anymore.
