but you will be missing out on the multiplayer side of the game, the numbers online with the WiiU are tiny, i have given up with SplinterCell online as there is never anyone on it so i cannot do any of the co-op missions

Even if there was only 100 people online at a time that would be plenty, even in the WiiU port of Black Op's 2 there is plenty of people to play with, you won't always be playing the same people the following day.

they could have made it look as good as the ps4 version, but nope.

How?

If you think Smogon ban stuff

"Just because they can't beat it"

You clearly don't play OU

You clearly have no knowledge of the metagame

And you clearly don't deserve to have an opinion.

Smart move on your part. As far as gameplay and gamepad intergration goes I thought splinter cell blacklist was well done. People need to stop expecting anything more than a 360 port graphics wise on Wii U. We won't see developers step up on Wii U until ps360 is no more. It makes since for them financially to just port 360 games to Wii U. When ps360 is no longer developers will be forced to make Wii U games better ps4 xb1 port and thus taking more advantage of the hardware. Expect AC4, Batman AO, and Watchdogs on Wii U to visually mirror the 360 versions.

what are you on about !

they cannot port from PS4/X1 to the WiiU, the WiiU has different architecture, the WiIU is not x86 !

don't get started on the RAM either, how will the games cope with being written for 4GB to 5GB RAM to the WiiU's 1GB, they cannot the eDRAM cannot make up the difference either.

W101 sold about 5000+ units,

Splinter Cell sold about  5000+ units

Black Ops 2 was the worst seller on the WiiU as was Splinter Cell, after WatchDogs there won't be any-more Ubi games on the WiIU & even if there were why buy them when you can by better versions with nothing missing on the PS3/X360 ?

This is what WILL happen, WiiU will get a few first party games and little to no support from the large third party's. it seem the line about going for the core gamer(3rd party stuff) was either a load of rubbish or they simply failed. Such a shame because i liked the idea of the WiiU but mine for one has sat gathering dust for a while now....

Eh, x86 doesnt stop it from being portable, it just requires a team willing and capable at doing it. All ps360 games are ppc while the pc games are x86.

the w101 community has over 11,000, and thats just in na.

The ram can be dealt with on a case by case. Most cases, will be easily doable, because the game industry is stagnant, and very, very few people actually use system power to advance gaming, and rather simply use it for prettier graphics and better iq.

So, while ps4 would use uncompressed textures (simply because it has so much ram it can), Nintendo has texture compression technologies, even back in the cube days when they used s3 texture compression, which was a 6:1 compression algorythm. In other words, it can compress 6 Gb of textures into 1.

The last part is absolutely true. Ubisoft has clearly shown their wii u 'support' is a phoned in farce and they are just going through the motions, treating wii u owners like garbage customers and giving them garbage products. Why whould I buy garbage?

Thanks for responding I was going to ignore his post... Not worth stating the obvious that anyone that knows anything about gaming would know. Yeah Ubisoft thinks we are stupid... I saw through their PR BS long time ago.

There are plenty of people on Black Ops 2 if you only like one game type...

the problem is that the devs/pubs are not willing to spend the time & money on graphics compression or on porting from x86 there is not enough money in the WiiU for them to make it viable, unless Nintendo are going to fund every port the original dev/pub will only do it is they see any value, people like devs & pubs will always go the easy & cheap way, you cannot blame them really though.

Of course you can blame them. If they'd out some effort into making some original stuff for Wii U then the system would be selling better than it is.

The funny thing is it's in their interests for the platforms to sell well. More hardware available means more people to buy their games.

Want to see the WiiU version because the pc specs to run it are pretty high!

Also will it be £60 like PS4????
