By increasing price and creating more product they could hold this supply much longer.

Why do I have a feeling that in the future someone will make a chocolate Jurassic Park, with every kind of chocolate in history, with chocolate milk rivers and roads made out of Hershey bars? Great, now I've made myself want chocolate.

It's not going to stop existing.

Sure, maybe only rich people will be able to buy it.  There would likely be private areas and restoration projects too.

Botanists and whatnot will also keep living samples for reasons.

But giving it an exact date, nope.  You can probably expect the "shortage" to happen much sooner.

Better start growing a cocoa tree right now, chocolate will probably start fetching a good price in a couple of years...

It's the same thing with coffee. Once demand forces buyers to pay more, they'll stop burning half their crops to artificially inflate prices.
