That's not what I meant. I mean that too few people would use that function, just like how little who made use of the GCN-GBA thingy

I think you misunderstood my post...
I'm explaining why most people didn't use that function, and why the Wii U - 3DS doesn't have that problem.

Why would the wiiU make use of streetpass if it cannot be moved unless you want to go through trouble?

i dont think streetpass will have any capabilitys with the U just can't think of anything usefulll for the wii u and streetpass

If you pass someone with your 3DS, There can be some kind of App on the Wii U that connects the 3DS to the console, and maybe get exclusive things or something.

Im sure it uses streetpass somehow, because back in E3, when Itawa Announced Super Smash Bros. 4, he said there is connectivity between the Wii U version, and the 3DS version.

That would be a good idea for the downloaded games. That would make sense and runnable. Imagine playing CLASSIC, OLD Mario multiplayer with the wii u controller and the 3ds.

I hope that they allow for games from 3DS to be played on TV's only so that Lets plays can be done easier

people might just wait for the WiiU and not buy a 3DS if they can just play it on the Console over the handheld. i doubt it would influence the general public, because they aren't as informed i assume.

lol. Its basically just the same as the gameboy player you have the 3DS, you connect it to the wiiU and you play your 3DS on your Wii U!! Voila

Yeah, with the Pro add-on for the Nintendo 3DS it can easily be another controller! It'll just miss the sensor bar...
About Streetpass...maybe you can download your information from your Wii U (forget downloads, we have Spotpass, it can be done by itself!) and when you make 3DS Streetpass, the Wii U info. gets to the other user, too! Another possibility could be that Nintendo makes a social network like Home from PS3 (IDK if it was released, I've never used a PS3) and you get information by meeting people. The most coherent speculation I have is that you get information from people you play with in online games.

You could use that black thing at the back of the 3DS for the sensor bar! But, the 3DS doesn't have HD graphics :L
