It's not nearly as elegant or stylish as the OoT 3DS. That has a sleek design with famous Zelda icons and the Hylian Crest. This is gold with a darker gold Triforce on it. I like gold, but the original is much more elegant (and it also matches the Wind Waker Gamepad).

I have the original ocarina time 3ds if it wasn't for my xbox one preorder coming on the 22 i prob would have upgraded to this but sadly have to pass I love the gold color

If I were to get a 3DS XL it would be this, but I'm not, so I won't. I have no need for an XL, as the original screen is fine for me.

I was thinking about preordering one on Amazon, but as long as I'm unsatisfied with the handheld consoles - "Pokémon X" wasn't just as perfect as expected - no 3DS, 3DS XL or even 2DS (which looks quite retro, love that design!) will be bought.
But this thing looks so gorgeous, loving the "golden" surface. I'm still waiting for Nintendo changing the color of the circle pad from this dull gray to the same color as the cover.
And I have to agree: The "Ocarina Of Time 3D"-3DS looked way neater than this one. That's why I would buy a "Wind Waker HD"-Wii U, this golden engraving on the GamePad is really classy, I'm lovin' it! It's reminding me of the 3DS-design for the OoT-special design.
