Even if you screenshot it, I'm not sure what exactly sure I can do.  I know feldo was able to blacklist ads in the past, but I don't know if I can.

I ended up removing Ad Block Plus because it crashes my browser whenever I open a couple tabs. I'll be downgrading to Windows 7, so I'll look at switching browsers then though.

The internet says it's on your own computer, run malwarebytes or something similar.

Might want to check if your google or yahoo search page is messed up too (or homepage), that's what typically happens if it's on your computer.

Can't be. I used the Kapersky rescue CD and it didn't find anything, and I checked installed programs and browser settings. Nothing showed up anywhere and it didn't go away until I installed ad block plus.

Yeah and if it was it would still probably have come from this forum, since I'm not the only one getting it for this site only.

No idea how accurate any of these are, but I guess a scam can be different to a virus/malware.
It's probably an advert, next time you get re-directed you should probably go back with backspace and copy urls to all the ads on the page and report the advert top google.

Can't backspace iirc. The redirect causes the previous page to not be added to browser history, at least in IE10.

I always thought it was just an add, never thought it was malware. It's just annoying cause it redirects you from where you actually wanted to go.

I do get a "400" error instead of an advert every so often, it was probably that since opera isn't a popular browser, so they don't do this stuff for it.

SO...

some interesting stuff happened with this over the past 2 days. Last night, one of the sites a facebook page I've liked linked had this exact same message. So I thought, "maybe it isn't related to WUF, maybe it's just my CPU D:

But then about 2 minutes ago, as I got on this computer (I'm at work) I woke the computer up, and grrove shark switched to the same add. I didn't even click any links. However, I think I might have used spacebar to wake the CPU up, which could have "pressed" the play button.

I HAVE been on these forums on this CPU before, so it's still possible their related, but now I'm not sure if it's that, or if it's just some random scam that's appearing everywhere on the internet :S
