The app is available in the UK too, so I'm assuming it must be for the whole of Europe.
The app is okay-ish. The videos don't lag or anything like that, but it does crash sometimes. The UI can be a bit clunky to navigate and it's hard to click on some stuff; you have to keep on tapping it with the touch-screen. When you're navigating, you should always use the Circle Pad/D-Pad as the touch-screen can act weird sometimes. I find it cool that you can link it to a device on the TV though, I can put videos on my TV using my 3DS to the Wii U. Remember though, don't press the HOME button on the streaming on the 3DS as the 3DS freezes.
Overall, this app is okay in my opinion.
EDIT: Oh and it doesn't do 3D videos.

I am totally going to download this and not use it.
Same probably.
Lots of people have been asking for a 3DS YT app but honestly, everyone has a smartphone nowadays.

I was asking for one not long after launch but then I got a Vita.
I don't yet have a smartphone or a tablet so I did use the Vita Youtube app quite a bit in the past. Will be interesting to see how the 3DS app compares to its Vita counterpart though.

Vita probably has a 2 times higher resolution...

The 3DS app is nice for some people, but not me.
The quality is terrible, crashes way too many times and is just a general nuisance.
If you have any other device that can view youtube, you're probably better off using that.

Lol. I know it will look a lot better on the Vita but I meant it would be interesting to see how it compares in terms of functionality and design since I find the Vita Youtube app to be quite well designed and easy to use.
I'm still yet to try out the 3DS app.

They could use the 2 screen design pretty clever. Showing videos on the top screen, comments/navigation etc. on the lower screen.

It seems you're able to watch videos from other mobile sites as well.
Now we just have to see how long that lasts.
