24 hours later Nintendo hasn't denied this, and its not like its a random employee or intern. 

 

Smash's development could be almost done, since Nintendo/Namco are both working on it, plus  we've seen a ton of screenshots of the game more than we did Brawl.  It could launch in May 2014 no problem, Mario Kart was also confirmed for the Spring at E3.

MK8 yes, Smash Bros., no.

 

It's hilarious how anybody could even believe Smash Bros 4 would be ready already. It's only been about a year since it's entered development.

You know that Smash Bros Melee was in development for a year and a half? Right Brawl would of come out earlier if they didn't include Sonic or didn't have online  issues. Smash 64 was released pretty quickly too. They seem to be using a modified Brawl engine anyway, and Namco is working on the game as well. You'd be pretty stupid if you think Smash isn't coming out when the Wii U is on its last legs.

After these three titles, I'll be done getting new games for a while.  Might pick up Bayonett or X if they end up having rave reviews.  And the Shinen racing game.  Then after a price drop get Splinter Cell and Watch Dogs, but nothing I'll rush out to get anytime soon.

Ill get Mario Kart 8 but Theif, TitanFall, Tomb Raider are all my main priorites gaming wise early next year...

early smashbros would be good. not to surprising since earlier smashbros has shorter dev times, this started with brawl code, andn has no long story like subspace emiciary. just hope it has good working online, and that it will get balance updates so we dont get characters like metanight being drasticly OP.

The "Smash Bros in spring 2014" rumor was confirmed to be false by Nintendo.  It simply has a release date of 2014 now, so it's anyone's guess as to when we will see it.  It won't surprise me if it's Nintendo's big holiday 2014 title because it's going to be pretty huge for Nintendo fans and fans of other consoles.  It will give me plenty of time to focus on DKC and MK8 at least.

 

BTW, I'm liking the Mario Kart graphic at the top of the forum!
