(Since there's only a few Wii U games under 10 that are really good I decided to do 5 very best Wii U games, to be fair for the Wii U)

Yup, my number 1 Wii U game isn't even a game. But it keeps me coming back for more so its my favorite game....or app, to come back to the Wii U.

#1 Fire Emblem Awakening

Fire Emblem Awakening is without a dough the best game of 2013 for me, Ive spent countless hours playing this game and I never got tired of it, I mean sure some may have Super Mario 3D World or Link Between Worlds as their number 1, but for me Awakening made my year for 10 straight months, I'm already at Lunatic + in chapter 7 and it is impossible to beat but I keep on continuing. I bought all the DLC and never regretted it, this game alone made me a fan of Fire Emblem, I bought Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon a couple of weeks ago and I love it.

 

I hope they take Fire Emblem even further. Like Fire Emblem X Tales series, Marth playable in Soul Calibur 6, stuff like that. This game is the greatest game Ive ever played and I recommend anyone who never bought a 3DS.

And Im also pretty enthused with art acadamy. Unfortunately, nintendo's completely crushed any and all motivation I had to complete my xenoblade piece... That made me stop for a while. But ive recently begun picking up with a solid linework every other day or so. It might head back up to my list soon.

Other games of 2013? I dont know... this has been a horrible year... They finished ruining bioshock and consequently finished crapping all over the legacy of system shock, so it can no longer be seen under the mountain of crap.<br /><br />Was last of us 2013? I think it was... That was great. Have the reverse boxart on display with my others.

GTA im sure was much better than 4, but i would never be able to find an appropriate time to play it. The games just too obnoxiously puerile to fit in my life now. A decade ago when I was living alone, id be having a blast, but those times are past.<br /><br />Tomb raider joined the 'lets mimic call of doody!!!' bandwagon, though it was hardly a loss, series been garbage to me since it left the psx era.<br /><br />Pretty much just garbage all around. A bunch of garbage that dramatically presents non challenge. The screen shows you doing the most amazing things, but in actuality, on the controller, you are actually just playing the slowest, easiest, lamest game of simon.<br /><br />I am sick of it.<br /><br /><br /><br />

In no particular order, my favorite Wii U games are Wind Waker, Nintendoland, Art Academy, NSMBU, NSLU. Those are also the only Wii U games I have at the moment, but I'm getting AC4, Deus Ex, and 3D World for Christmas.

Favorite games this year, from what I've played of Metal Gear Rising I've enjoyed, so I need to get the full game soon. I also liked Pokemon X, Link Between Worlds, Animal Crossing, The Last Story, and Rainbow Six Vegas (got for free from being a Gold member of XBLA).
