Good, it should.
Huh, it looks like the monkey hair is animated... It is animated, looks like amd's tressfx, or kinda reminds me of the witcher 3's wolf. Looks nice.

I have been thinking that exact thing Tressfx for a while but ust didn't want to say anything. I know 99%of people would say m bat crazy and Wii U isn't powerful enought to use TressFx. I do onder what tech is doing the hair animation? In house? Nintendo and retro should open up more about these things. Promote the game and what the console can do.

Game looks stunning on HD Youtube but playing on your TV will look even better.

You gotta see the 3D dynamic sequences play out in person. If you played it at that Best Buy event you'll know how gorgeous it looks in person.

Indeed, since youtube encodes are pretty bad, and locked at 30fps.Game looks stunning on HD Youtube but playing on your TV will look even better.

I agree 100%! I'm extremely excited for this game to be released. Mario Kart 8 is at the top of my list, but this one is right there with it. I thought I remembered them saying this would be 1080/60, and I'm glad that's confirmed!
Some people are upset we've gotten so much info on this game instead of other games, but I'm just fine with it. It looks better every time we get new footage, news, etc.

Game looks very good but it feels a lot like Country Returns which I didn't really like for some reason. I'm not sure if I'm going to play it.

I can imagine playing this all year next year, the difficulty remaining challenging is what I wanted most! 1080p 60fps is a bonus.

Edit: OK, my doubt carried over from the Mynintendonews website. They do say 1080p, and that wouldn't mean anything if it wasn't native. So ignore what I wrote above. But... where does it say it's 60 fps?

Don't they say they don't know whether it's native 1080p or upscaled? This confuses me a bit, I mean, if you have the Wii U set to 1080p, it always upscales right? So what are they actually saying?

I'm pretty sure the 60fps was confirmed awhile back. In fact, I'm pretty sure Nintendo mentioned something about most of or all of their first-party titles being 60fps moving forward. I don't want to go digging for that info, but I remember reading it somewhere a couple months ago. All of their big ones (3D World, DKC: TF, MK8, Smash, Bayo 2, etc.) will be anyway.

Could it be Retro's new engine that's powering DKC: Tropical Freeze?

I'm really stoked for the new DKC. Playing the Wii one on the 3DS reminded me of how awesome it was, and Retro will surely top their work here.
In other words, I love you
