I think that Nintendo will come around.  i have started seeing a lot better commercials on tv  now.  I remember when the wii u came out, there was not one single commercial for the wii u.  Its kind of hard to sell a product if its not advertised well.  I think the new commercials showcase that its a completely new console.  I like to see rhat more people have been buying.  Patience is a virtue....you dont win a race in the beginning!

I think all consoles have markets they do better in. XBOX 360 sells like lint in Japan but, much much better everywhere else. I think once China is in play fully the Wii U will do very well there.

As most people have mentioned, 3rd Party support for the console will really cement it's stability for the coming years. Ubisoft are doing some great things with the console. Just a shame EA and EA Sports are not following suit.

yep will never happen for me. i cant justify buying two consoles. i might slowly start building a pc but it suck it will only be for one game and that the yearly 2k. i just wish sales pick up enough to justify 2k giving Wii U owners a good down port from xb1/ps4 2k14 for next year 2k15.... instead of the crappy 2k13 we got last year that look like it was running on their Wii engine.

After the poor sales of AC IV I highly doubt we'll be getting anymore AAA titles from Ubisoft.

Actually i agree.. i really dont care for any of the others. I mean it would be cool to see an actual good version of Watchdogs for Wii U as it is the closest thing to GTA type game that will grace Wii U. I think the AC franchise is just oversaturated. They need to take a break and bring back like Prince of persia or something else. I tried playing ACIV and got bored quick... just not my type of game.

That's fair enough and I'll be buying Watch dogs for sure, but something tells me that won't sell well on the Wii U either.

Yeah might not. But why not put effort to making the game polished from a performance standpoint, and utilize the gamepad to offer an experience that cant be found on any other console and actual TLAK IT UP... let the gamers kow the Wii U version offers a gameplay experience that cant be found anywhere else. it is running o their supposedly new NEXT GEN engine so lets hope Wii U can shine and leave the ps360 ports from outperforming it.

I'm actually really looking forward to Watchdogs, if that comes out in March and Mario Kart 8 comes out in April, I'll be one happy camper.

Well i would love to actually have a good looking, performing, and gamepad used in meaningful way game.... but i will only believe it when i see it.

There's a few games that utilise the Gamepad really well, apparently Splinter Cell Blacklist is one of those games. I may pick that up on Friday.

I don't think you are getting what I am saying. The Wii U sold less than those 4 consoles, so it was 5th. What's so hard about that? You saying the PS3 is a "last generation media box" doesn't diminish that it sold more than the Wii U in November. And the PS4 and XBO destroyed what the Wii U sold at launch, so they didn't "catch up". They demolished it.

And what were the sales numbers the past 12 months?
Wii U beat x1 AND p4!!!

Funny story....
Assassins creed IS what happened to prince of persia.

Its the old pop code base from the ps2 days. Just been tweaked over the past 7-8 years, so now you dont even really need to do anything but hold in a general direction and occasionally press jump!

Wii U is dead in the UK.

Is this true? The UK gets all the special edition cover art/case/game. Black flag, SM3DW, Pokemon rumble U, etc. They should bring some of those editions overseas.
