The exact same thing happend to mine and I got it working by unplugging the wii and make sure that the wii isdisconected from EVERYTHING! Then just leave it alone for about 30 minutes and plug it back in and I will be just fine and with no memorry damage so you won't have to beat every game you own again.
In a world of Gray and black there is nothing here to take back...
