I did hear something about them annualising the game. Which if true will be disappointing.
Hopefully it's just DLC though!

I'm with everybody else, this is probably just the story DLC. Still can't wait for next-gen Batman+Rocksteady goodness.

I'm with everybody else, this is probably just the story DLC. Still can't wait for next-gen Batman+Rocksteady goodness.
I certainly hope it's just dlc. I hold this franchise to the same standard as Zelda and frankly, from what I've seen of Origins, I'm disappointed in WB Montreal. The next game needs to go back to Rocksteady, and they can take all the dear sweet time with it that they want. I'll take a new batman every 3-4 years if it means quality upon release, not an origin story that feels like extended DLC to Arkham city.

I'm pretty sure Rocksteady is working on the next Batman game, and I'm also pretty sure that'll come out in 2014.
But Arkham Origins isn't awful by any stretch. It's not as good as City/Asylum, but I have played far, far worse games. For what's basically a new developer's first original title, it's not half bad.

No it's not awful because rocksteady put too much good into City for them to completely tear it down. I'm trying not to hold it to the same standards but its hard. And I still maintain that giving the series yearly installments is the worst idea ever.

Played origins for a couple of hours now. Look we all knew it was gonna be more of the same, which would have been good if they didn't strip away all the gamepad features. No more hacking via the gamepad, no more database. Everything went top screen. /endrage Besides that it's a great game.
