I'm sorry to lure you into my intro thread with a title like that.

 

I'm Ledo Jaeger. Wii U is kind of awesome. I'm 20 and am into such things as anime and Japanese language. It is my hope that I will meet some sweet virtual friends here. WOO.

I'm also a pretty big fan of nihongo, but I won't embarrass myself by speaking like a third grader to you

In fact, my teacher made me love it so much that I hope to teach english in Japan after university

Well my japanese teacher went there with 0 knowledge of their language or culture, and he got married to a japanese woman, had a kid with her, and speaks like a frinkin pro now so...

Besides the best way to learn a language is to be surrounded by it with no easy way out.

The only thing I'm a little worried about is that i'm black, and japan is about 99% japanese. So I'd be the first black person a lot of people would see.

Also where wold i get my hair cut? D:

Dreamcast someone said Dreamcast so I came..then I clicked on the topic.

DC the best system ever. I like to think of Wii U is Dreamcast 2 in all the right ways. Not SEGA's financial problem long before DC which nearly killed them as a company.

 

Like DC,Wii U is underappriacted. In time I feel like DC and Gamecube people will have fond memories of Wii U. It's easy to bash a console when struggling it's first couple years and consoles ben there before and some recovered nicely. If all is to be believed Wii U sold almost 1million in December. Wii U should be picking up.

 

I feel Wii was Nintendo's reboot and in many ways was the new NES. I feel Wii U has potential to be the new SNES and with some Dreamcast ideas. So for me it's a great comparison click bait or not. Wii U is loaded with potential.

 

Also Dreamcast forever.
