You want Nintendo, Maker of the horrible interfaces, to be in charge of Online that could make or break the WiiU? Seriously?
I highly doubt both would work, so I'd easily pick steam over the screw up that is Origin

Games that refuse to use Gameplay effectively to do anything are like films that refuse to use cinematography in film to do anything.

Origin would be better than Steam, in my opinion.

Mainly because everyone I know who has Steam are elitists, and I don't want to play with elitists. Too bossy and whiny and pro and always accusing me of ragequits when I need to go to bed and stuff.

Lol! Sound like a bunch of losers, not that I wouldn't give Steam a shout some day soon...still yet to finish Portal 2 o_O
BANGIN!

My body is ready. ^_^

one things for sure, Nintendo have to get there online sorted 100% when WiiU is released. I'm not sure if you can have steam & origin but it would be great to have both options. More choice for YOU the player.

Origin is fine, unless you think Steam is horrible too? They're practically the same.

WHAT?? They are most certainly not the same!

nintendo said they want a flexible system that will allow each developer to do what they want with their online. this whole steam vs origin thing is probably a false rumour OR its being attempted by valve and EA but nintendo will not give either one exclusivity and rather stick with their original plan to have an online for each developer (or something like that) OR steam or origin will become the main online base for downloads and stuff but each individual game will still get their own online from different developers

the system should have support for a mashed system based off of steam and origin. if valve and ea werent subborn they would both supprt wii u online.

I just feel the need to point this out: The Wii U will have it's own online system. The origin/ Valve will be most likely just like the PS3/ Steam connectivity.

I'd wait until E3 2012 before we start making judgements.

You have a very good point.

Yeah, you've done a great job so far, letting the Metal Heads destroy the palace.
